Printing Our Learning Into a New Dimension

My Students

Our Title I school is located in an area that is filled with a very diverse group of young learners. Some, not all, of our students are considered to be both special needs as well as English Language Learners (ELL).

My students are extremely inquisitive and always asking questions and looking to explore new ideas on a daily basis.

The funding from this project would enable my school to have a 3D printer, allowing students to delve deeper into the world of science and technology.

My Project

The goal of this project is to increase our students access to the world of STEM. Having a 3D printer and filament in our school will allow for students to learn more about the artistic, mathematical and technological aspects of creating an image to be printed as a 3D model.

As we continue to grow technologically as a society, it is important for our students to be continually learning and exploring the world around them.

Having this printer will give them the opportunity to do just that as well as continue to foster their creativity , as well s their ever growing imaginations.
