My students come from a variety of different economic backgrounds and educational levels. Because I teach middle school, many of my students are at a pivotal point in their education. In sixth grade, many of them are learning how to study and retain learning materials for the first time. Whether auditory, visual, or tactile learners, it is my desire to create a classroom environment that inspires them to learn.
My students include five Learning Strategies classes with 110+ sixth graders.
A variety of reading and writing levels are represented in my classroom. It is my goal to assist students by introducing a variety of learning strategies, as well as providing them fun and engaging ways to learn. From the advanced to the struggling student, it is my goal to make learning fun through writing activities and group activities. These are skills that I hope they will learn to use for a lifetime!
My Project
Each day handouts and printed material are used for my instructional lessons. Students often have lost handouts, need additional items printed, or need supplemental material at the last moment. It is often impossible to step out of the classroom to make copies.
Regardless of how prepared the lessons is, there are times when printing material or copying material is essential.
This HP printer and toner would allow me the option to serve my students better. It would also provide me the resources to have handouts and visual instructional material available for my students at all times. In addition, it would allow me to print last minute material with differentiated instruction for struggling students if needed.
