My Students

I am blessed with a classroom of fun, energetic, eager to learn students. The majority of my students are from low income families, Spanish speaking homes, etc. My students are eager to learn, but benefit from frequent movement, exercise, and brain breaks. A high number of my students have been diagnosed with ADD or ADHD. While these students may have this diagnosis, it doesn't mean they are not able to learn. They just learn in different ways. I look forward to helping them succeed and finding what helps them be successful!

My Project

At our school, we have a community printer that only prints in black ink. The printer is mainly for lesson plans and interim reports to send home to the parents. It is nearly impossible to print out color worksheets and file folder games. I have noticed that students recall facts when the games are vivid and colorful. The file folder games are aligned with the common core curriculum.

By having color toner for our printer, it allows the students to reach their maximum learning by seeing everything in color.

Each child learns differently. By having our own ink for our classroom printer, I can print a variety of resources for students to master their standards.
