My Students

My students are some of the most driven, kind hearted, and eager to learn kids I have worked with.

They continually strive to have a growth mindset as they approach challenges in their learning.

My students understand that achievement takes time and effort, and I try to instill in them a mindset of never giving up. I know that they come to school every day to learn things from me, but they don't realize that they have taught me so much in return.

My Project

Working at a small sized school, the teachers share one printer amongst all of us. Being teachers, that printer is worked like a horse and often breaks. This makes it really difficult to get the copies my students need to have fully prepped lessons.

I strive daily to make sure that my students have all the materials necessary to set them up for success in every lesson.

That becomes difficult when communal devices are always breaking down. When teachers are not prepared, student learning gets a disservice! When the printer is broken, teachers cannot be prepared. Having this personal printer will allow me to make sure I can always get my students the individual copies they need for every lesson! It would be a comfort to know that I have the printer the next time the main one breaks because I know I will be able to get my students the materials they need.
