My students need a color printer and ink cartridges in order to create the most amazing yearbook possible! It will allow the students to create, edit, and print their layouts before the book goes into production.
How many times since graduation have you looked back at your yearbook? Did the pages bring back memories from a time in your life you may have forgotten? This is why my students need your help. My eighth grade graduating students are ready to get started on the creation of their yearbook. They have so many great ideas. They just need the tools to help them make it.
My students walk into my classroom every day enthusiastic, eager to learn, and full of amazingly creative ideas.
They are an awesome bunch of young adults. I teach at a Title 1 school in Brooklyn, New York and many of my students do not have the tools needed to fully complete the work they have to do.
My Project
With a color printer, ink and warranty, my yearbook students will be able to take the pages they create in our online yearbook site and print them out in color in order to edit them and see how their hard work looks. They will also be able to see the documentation of all the activities the school had and create a wonderful yearbook for their peers. They will learn how to scan pictures and then upload them into layouts within the book in the yearbook site. The students will work together to edit the pages and make a yearbook full of memories and smiles for their peers.

By having these, they will be able to take all their hard work and then print it out to edit. Then they will be able to correct the work for the finished yearbook. They will be able to create a book with amazing layouts and wonderful memories that they can look back on and smile. Being able to have this printer and ink will help us so much!
