My Students

I work in the city of Nashua, NH as a fifth grade teacher. My students are from low income backgrounds and are struggling to read and write after a year and a half of pandemic learning. I am looking to help improve their literacy skills over the course of the school year!

My Project

In our two ELA classes in 5th grade, we have found the need to often make 2-3 copies of something but we are very far from the copy room and there is no coverage so we can't run to do it! We use a program called Words Their Way and often we need to adjust our resources for it, we need a few copies. This would help us immensely! Also, having a scanning option could allow us to scan learning materials in case we need to go for remote learning.
