When I began my teaching career, I was so nervous about being in middle school. I'd heard some pretty scary things and even got lots of funky looks from more people than I'd like to admit when I proudly announced that I would be teaching middle schoolers. I'm so glad that I stuck it out though, because if I hadn't, I wouldn't know the joy of being an educator, nor would I have crossed paths with some of the most amazing kids I've ever met.
Fortunately for me, I am lucky enough to be a part of the best district in Texas, and I find that I'm extra lucky because being a part of this district means that I get to spend lots of time learning and growing with my students!
They are smart, kind, thoughtful, inquisitive, and frankly, some of the strongest kids I've ever encountered. They are so deserving of every good thing that will ever come their way! When I count my blessings, I count my amazing students twice!
Access to reliable printers here on our campus is pretty limited, which doesn't allow students as many opportunities to bring their creativity to life. Having a printer in the classroom will help students to engage in learning, motivate them to do their best work, and display their digital creations in our classroom and in the halls!
I am confident that with a new classroom printer, the students will have more opportunities for academic growth and collaboration by completing projects that we have not been able to complete in the past!
Please be a blessing to our classroom and help us to show what we know!
