Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
The only thing that you absolutely have to know, is the location of the library.–Albert Einstein As the school year begins, I am excited to share the love of reading to a new group of students. I desire to create a warm and welcoming environment that is utilized by the entire school.
The library is fortunate to provide a space for all students to feel welcomed and encouraged.
We have students from pre-k through fourth grade with ninety percent of the population classified as economically disadvantaged. Your donation would go towards helping the entire school population become more informed and engaged!
My Project
One of my goals of the library is to create a space that is inviting and exciting for students. I've requested a color printer to kick off this school year to help me create vibrant displays around the library.
The color printer will be used to create vivid bulletin board displays, highlight favorite book covers, and add colorful signage to help students find the books throughout the library space.
In addition to the printer, paper and colored cardstock will be used to create lessons and individual library cards for students. The electric pencil sharpener will be helpful when seeing classes in the library and having common library supplies for student groups. I appreciate your partnership to help prepare for this school year!
