My Students

I am a special education teacher at my school. The majority of my students come from low-income households. By the time they reach my classroom in the morning, I can tell by their faces and body language what kind of day it is going to be for some of them.

Many of my students have experienced more in their short lives than I can even imagine- but they still come to school with the desire to learn and succeed!

These students deserve the world and I make it my mission to show my students that it doesn't matter where they come from or what happened the night before. What matters is that they are here today, ready to learn and grown into amazing people! The purpose of this project is to gather materials to help give them the best opportunities to further their math and literacy skills.

My Project

I recently started a project for a printer and ink here on Shortly after I posted the project, a friend graciously donated a gently used printer to my classroom in order for me to print colorful, engaging learning materials and parent newsletters for my students. The printer is perfectly paired with my personal computer- but it needs new ink cartridges!

Having color ink will provide me the opportunity to create highly engaging learning centers and worksheets for my fabulous firsties!

They deserve exciting and colorful educational materials! Please consider donating to provide my students with the gift of color!
