My students need a highly efficient printer to print new instructional materials. With an efficient printer, extra ink, and card stock, I can make new instructional materials for a fraction of the cost of buying them from a teaching supply store.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Pre-K is one of the most important grades in a student's school career. More important than learning their basic letters and numbers, they learn to share, use materials, how to behave, etc.
The most important thing they learn is what I like to call "how to school".
Instilling a love for school is my ultimate goal.
To qualify for Pre-K my students need to be either low income or English language learners, most are both. My class is diverse in race, ethnicity, and religion, with students who are Ethiopian, Hindi, Hispanic, etc. We are a special group and I wouldn't trade it for anything. The students learn love and tolerance, respect and responsibility, fun and work.
My Project
Students are all at different levels and abilities. Addressing all these differences in a class of 24 can be a challenge, especially with a lack of resources. With a printer, I can print differentiated instructional materials for students on their level and be able to further assist and push students to the next level more easily.
With an efficient printer, extra ink, and card stock, I can make new instructional materials for a fraction of the cost of buying them from a teaching supply store.
Students love new things, unfortunately new things are expensive. With the ability to make these new materials myself, I can vary the students educational experience and save money at the same time!
