My Students

With Common Core Standards students are expected to be able to think on a higher level. Technology is such a great tool when trying to obtain different goals.

I have 19 amazing students in a small town in West Virginia.

Since our school is not a Title 1 school, we are not able to receive the funds that those schools receive. All students have iPads now, so that makes using technology even better. The only problem we have is, printing.... Students are able to complete so much work on their iPads, but in order to print we have to sign out a mobile lab, and hope that the wireless printer is working. My students would be ecstatic to be able to print off their work in our classroom.

My Project

My room is very technology driven. Without all the tools our success is limited in our classroom. We need a printer so that we will be able to print different documents to assist in writing activities. They would also be able to print power points, keynotes, and other documents after they have created them.

The printer will give students the ability to be more efficient with their time.

So much time is wasted trying to find a printer that works in other rooms. If they were able to use a printer that is at an arms reach their productivity would double.
