Help me give my students a printer, ink, paper and more for an amazing experience during station time by allowing me to give them engaging station activities and learning games.
Being a teacher in a low income school brings its own unique challenges. My students come to me from all different backgrounds and environments. Some are from two-parent homes, single family, foster homes, and some are being raised by grandparents but each child loves to learn.
A positive environment is a must in school and I want my classroom to be a place that feels safe and welcoming to all my students.
My students love to sing, dance, and move to help them learn all the concepts. I incorporate a variety of learning strategies to ensure that my students' needs are met.
My Project
My students are excited to become readers, writers, and mathematicians during station time. I will use my printer to print out engaging station activities that the students will be using to review previously taught material. The printer, ink and paper will give me access to phonics and sight word cards and hands-on games specifically targeted for my students and help with skill development.
The printer and station games will allow my students to work on skills they have been taught during whole group lessons.
These games will be engaging for my students but still teach them the concepts they need to learn in Kindergarten.
