This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Thirty-five students and 0 printers. I don't know about you but I don't like that ratio. Students of today are ready to use computers, yet our classroom has none. My students come from lower and lower middle-class backgrounds. They are fun, honest, interested in American History, and they deserve technology

My students are very diverse.

They come from many different socioeconomic levels. They come from homes where there is no Internet and technology. Some come from single-parent homes, some come from housing projects. Yet I have found that these kids are ready to learn. They deserve a working printer and I plan to allow them to use it.

My Project

My students need a working printer that they can use in my classroom before, during, and after school. A student printer in the classroom will make a big difference. I can have students instantly print class papers. I have never worked at a school where there was no working printer in the classroom that students could use to prepare assignments. Students need to be using technology. This printer would help connect with students who have no technology at home.
