My students need a printer and a scanner to be able to print and scan items that are used for our project based science. This will allow them to print their multi-media assignments.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are hungry to learn and be challenged in new ways. They come from a diverse suburban neighborhood with a growing ESOL and free and reduced-price lunch population. My school is a great school in which students are loved by their teachers and are made to feel that someone cares about their learning.
They crave hands-on activities that involve STEM, and we need a way to print all of our student projects.
They need to feel that they are learning in a way that still respects their ability levels. They are bright minds, ready to be challenged academically in fun ways.
My Project
We complete many project-based science projects collaboratively in our classroom. I have requested a printer/scanner and three cartridges of black ink. These projects stay on the computer and therefore their is no way to display the excellent work these students are doing. The students are also asking to scan pictures and diagrams they draw into their projects. This would allow me to provide students with a basic platform to display their creativity. I want my students to be able to display these projects in our school's museum night at the end of the year. This will give them an opportunity to shine.
