This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are an enthusiastic and fun group of typical English speakers, English Language Learners and Special Education Kindergarten students. My students are curious and eager about learning and for many it is their first experience in an educational setting. We are in a school with limited resources that serves a high poverty and transient population of families from many different countries. Many of my students' families do not have the means or resources at home to provide the educational practice needed to be successful.

My Project

My students enjoy engaging in fun center activities. I search and print fun activities that review and provide practice for both literacy and math skills. These centers created by teachers for teachers are so much fun and the kids love them. I need the resources to be able to continue to print, laminate and definitely organize. I can use the color paper for those black and white copies to make it more fun and color coded. I can use the laminating sheets to continue to protect the centers for future use and the protecting sheets to begin to organize them to easy access.
