Help me give my students ink for our classroom printer so we can print projects, activities, handouts, and even posters to take learning to another level.
Our school is a Title I school that is in an at-risk and low-income neighborhood. My students come from diverse backgrounds; the majority are Hispanic or African American. A little less than half of my students are limited English proficient and exceptional education students.
Many come from single-parent households or families that are in transition.
We work very hard to overcome all of these challenges. My students have the exact same eagerness to learn science as their peers in more affluent schools. Unfortunately, the school's resources and technology are very limited.
My classroom is a place where curiosity is cultivated and creativity is fostered. My students are inquisitive learners who love learning about our world. I strive to make all lessons interesting and engaging so students become more curious about the world and crave even more knowledge. The world's greatest inventions and advancements all started with curiosity.
My Project
My classroom is student-led where students conduct a lot of research and create projects as an alternative form of assessment. Students love to enhance their work with pictures and/or nicely typed text. It makes students proud to see their work printed. I also use the printer to print out handouts, activities, and colorful educational posters and diagrams to aid students in the learning process. As you can see, we put our printer though a lot! Sadly, our classroom printer ran out of ink and we need refills.
Ink refills will save the day and help us keep going on our way!
By getting these ink refills, I will be able to continue to print exemplary student work, print classroom activities and assignments, and create posters and diagrams to help with student learning.
