Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students come from low income families in which many of them do have parents but they are still living below the poverty level. My school is a Title I school and we are the only stability in our scholar's life.

Our schloars and their families are still trying to rebuild from Hurricane Harvey.

My students need assistance in knowing there is more to life than what they see in their neighborhood. We provide a safe haven to students where they know thy aere loved and teachers and staff encourage them to believe in themselves.

My Project

The printer and ink will assist my students with thier writings. It will benefit the students by letting them keep an record of their work and let them know if they are mastering their goals. Students will understand how they are doing with their work. Student would be able to print thier information and keep a record.

It will also help them with their writings and will lead them to become editors for their newsletters.

The newsletters will assist them with their writings and it will motivate them to continue to write which will lead to a love of writing.
