Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are amazing! On a daily basis they do whatever they can to focus on learning in order to become the best they can be.
My students are mostly English Language Learners in a high-needs school in the Bronx.
They love learning but lack the basic resources needed to make their dreams become reality. Resources that many take for granted, such as books to read, are scarce. Just like any other students, they deserve the ability to read quality, high-interest text.
My Project
A printer in the classroom would make such a difference!
We have access to technology, but after hours of hard work, it is difficult to find a location to print.
Having a printer in the room will allow us to type and print out our writing. It will also allow us to print out materials such as books to take home for reading, articles that can be used during lessons, etc. Just by having a printer, we will be able to do so many more things. We already have access to computers so we are halfway there. We would love your support for our project to help us 'Print It Out'!
