My Students

My third-grade students are full of life and energy as they enter our classroom each day. They are eager to learn new things and gain a deeper understanding of things they already have knowledge of. They love learning through books, games, music, and videos. Many of my students are from low-income families and do not have the resources at home that might enhance their learning. They face many challenges in their lives. I want them to feel safe and secure and have fun while learning here in our classroom.

My Project

These materials will be used for daily math skills through a computer program that we already have. Printing their daily work and having hands-on practice builds their math skills in a way that only computer-based programs cannot do. Being able to sit down with each student and to understand where each individual needs further assistance helps me to differentiate and provide each student with the exact help they need.

Building their confidence in math is my goal.
