My Students
My fourth graders are exceptional, diverse, multicultural and eager to learn. I love seeing a smile on their faces when I greet my students every morning. Over 80% of our school population lives at or below the poverty level. As a teacher in this area, I know that my students are faced with challenges both in and out of the classroom.
Despite the many challenges they face, I am looking to keep things enjoyable and provide my students with safe, and meaningful learning experiences.
These eager students deserve to have all of the proper materials they need to learn and grow.
My Project
My students need a color printer in our classroom. We often print student materials, stories, and projects, but they always have to be in black and white; as we do not have access to a color printer.
Having a color printer and ink cartridges will make my students happy!
We also would like to print out various learning activities in reading, writing, math, social studies, and science. The students work in groups using the activities that they enjoy, while reinforcing concepts from the current curriculum area.
Having a color printer will be a great help to us to enhance our classroom displays, and learning activities.
