This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My t.e.a.m., where together everyone achieves more, is my extended family! We love each other and do our best to rise above our individual differences to support team norms and goals. I still love and encourage each of my students to be okay being themselves while continuing to keep our family (our class, our team) in mind. I love functioning as their adopted dad, parent, coach, and of course, teacher! This is my family and my team. Let's go team!

My Project

Students will have increased opportunities to show what they have learned and created right in the classroom through exciting visual displays, using our very own, readily available color printer and laminator. Students can effectively show off their efforts during parent-teacher conferences and school Open Houses. With the laminator, students can prolong the life of their creative wisdom and kid spirit for weeks and months ahead. With your support, our classroom can become a beacon of creativity for the entire school and community to witness and marvel over.

Lessons learned through our classroom projects and displays can support current and future classroom learning, thereby promoting ongoing education and student achievements and successes.
