Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My school is a high needs school as we are located in a very low-income community. Our community struggles financially, and it is hard for them to donate to our school. Since our socioeconomic status is of primarily low income, our school qualifies for Title I funding, providing free and reduced-price breakfast and lunch.
I am asking for help to purchase the materials needed for my classroom, which benefits our students first and foremost!
My students come first and meeting their needs to learn is important. They deserve to be stress-free, free of distractions, and to not have to worry about purchasing materials needed to learn.
My Project
I am asking for help to purchase ink toner and copy papers so that I can print copies for my students to work on their math skills. I have about 120 students to copy math materials, and I need help to purchase these items.
Students need the practice daily in their math, and it is important they get access to free print copies.
Students need printed paper provided for them so the only thing they need to worry about is working and learning their math. Also, since winter is coming I am asking for tissue boxes since many of my students are using tissues due to allergies.
