This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students are creative, very smart and love hands-on activities/projects. They have so much more potential than merely drawing on paper or painting a picture. They love fun projects that help them to critically think; or projects they are able to solve a problem. My students love 3D work as well as 2D. Their craftsmanship is superb. They love originality, as little artists, they try making every project their own. Thinking outside the box is a strong quality they do possess. I know they would love some innovative ideas for the upcoming school year.
My Project
The printer will be used to print activities for mostly Pre-K and Kindergarten students. These will include images they will need to color or cut out. For older children, the printer will be used to create multiple copies for a single project, as well as it will be used to print forms and documents for art competitions students will need to enter.
Children love colors and a color printer is perfect, especially for the art room.
With a wireless printer I will also be able to take photos of students work during art competition and print an extra copy for the art room or just for the school to display.
