My Students

My students are from a school district that continually struggles with the money needed to provide our students with cutting-edge materials. In order for my students to compete with students across the country, they need more access to technology.

Very few of my students have ever seen primary sources.

I would like to have access to grade level primary sources for my students to do research. I think having access to such resources would inspire them to research.

Attendance is also always an issue with our students, I feel as if they would come to school more willingly if they were more engaged in their education.

My Project

My students need access to primary sources and appropriate grade level reading for Social Studies.

The materials we have for the classroom right now are too difficulty for my students.

These are grade level appropriate, as well as interesting and engaging. My students continually do research in Social Studies, this information would give them the understanding they need to continue with their research and create even better projects. I also believe these books would engage the students more in their learning, thus making them better citizens and better students.

I am excited to share these materials with my students. I think they would be fascinated by their nation's history when exposed to such wonderful information.
