My Students
Our middle school is located on the south side of our town that has 5 other middle schools. We have approximately 500 students in grades 6-8 that attend our school.
We have great diversity in our population, as we have students of several ethnic backgrounds and learning abilities.
We are the middle school for ESL students to attend. Many of our students are on free and reduced lunch and we have approximately 20% of our population that receives special education services.
My Project
The softball clothing will be safer for the girls instead of the typical shorts they wear for games. The girls will look like a team, feel like a team, and hopefully play like a team! This will encourage school pride!
Recycling is an essential responsibility we have as citizens of our world.
We need to encourage students to recycle more and take care of our school and our world. The bright colored recycle bins in our school colors will stand out and encourage more recycling be done in and around our school.
Students need a voice. They need to be heard. The journals and sketchbooks will give students the ability to express themselves and have an outlet for their emotions!
