Mr. Carter from Atlanta GA is requesting musical instruments through DonorsChoose, the most trusted classroom funding site for teachers.
Help me give my students the opportunity to become even better musicians than they already are. Learning Piano will help them to be better singers and train their ears!

We all have that one song where as soon as we hear the melody it brings back fun memories of times long gone. The song that puts a smile on your face and in your hearts. Go back to that place for a moment. This is exactly where I want my students to be.
Happy, engaged and enjoying the best moments of life is what I desire for my students.
As a middle school Chorus teacher in inner-city Atlanta, I desire to build a holistic connection between my students' success in life and their musical talents.
Seeing them come into my room with inquisitive minds I would like to make sure I have all of the resources necessary to groom their talents. To do this, I really need your help. As a part of our classroom project I would like to add 6 piano keyboards as a learning tool to further enhance my differentiated middle school music program.
Since beginning to work at Price I've noticed students have a love for instruments. No matter what instrument it is they have a strong desire to learn. Every student that steps foot in my classroom goes directly to my piano and attempts to play.
These piano keyboards would help my students achieve the success they desire.
It will give them a chance to compete with the rest of world by giving them a head start on their musical future.
These keyboards would also assist students with learning how to independently learn their choral music, enhance their sight-singing and bring them joy by learning a skill that would be difficult to achieve without assistance.
