Distance learning
These materials will help students continue learning through school closures and other scheduling uncertainties related to coronavirus. Items will be delivered to the location chosen by the teacher.

Preventing the COVID Slide

Help me give my students an individual tote bag full of individual leveled readers, flip books, word builders, and word family practice cards.

My Students

My students are eager and happy English Language Learners who have been thrown a major curve ball with the current situation of online learning. Because of the rural area they are in they do not have internet access.

These English Language Learners are resilient and are enthusiastic learners whether they are in the school building or forced to learn at home via packets.

Their resourcefulness is very inspiring.

My Project

My English Language Learners love school and the interaction they receive with teachers and other students. When school has to move to a distance learning format it forces these children to work via paper/pencil while many other students are able to access an internet option.

These materials will support these English Language Learners by providing fun, engaging, hands on materials that they can manipulate on their level to foster reading activities.

Students can explore word families, as well as text features and reading for meaning. Students will be able to have their own tote bag with individualized materials.
