My Project

If you ever had a kitchen fire, you know how quickly they can happen, and how scary they are.

Having a fire in my classroom the first year of teaching culinary was scary because I didn't know how to use a fire extinguisher.

I do not want my students to experience the same thing. Getting a fire blanket and extinguisher can keep us safe. Practicing how to use a fire extinguisher using PASS (Pull, Aim, Squeeze, and Sweep) will ensure we are safe when we cook and be prepared for an actual fire.
