My Students

This year the majority of my students are encountering their first time in a school setting. They are coming from a low income area of Clermont County, Ohio They need a lot of one-on-one help, as they are 3-5 years old and some with learning disabilities.

My energetic students are very eager to learn, and they have a lot of fun doing it!

With every lesson taught, the students are expanding their minds. I have many students that will be going on to kindergarten next year, and I plan to have them equipped with all the skills that they need to be successful in their academic career.

My Project

The children will be able to use the dress up trunk to pretend to be adults and cook food. The children will be able to use the mop and clean the pretend kitchen. They will use the food and the pretend broom to mimic what we see at home. The children will be able to use the food to cook meals and make food for their friends.

Children learn through play and teachers can model appropriate playing.

The pizza kit can be used to help with math skills as well pretending to make pizza. The other food and the cleaning supplies will help the children in playing with their peers.
