My Students

My students are truly exceptional! They work hard to succeed. They persevere when faced with a challenge, creatively inspire our community, and believe in one another. They are tomorrow's leaders and world-changers. They are our future and together we can help them reach their dreams. A full 100% of our students receive free or reduced-price breakfast and lunch. They come to a low-income, Title I school every day where resources are very limited. Some of our students are unable to purchase supplies and the school is only able to do so much with the budget they have. Our students strive to do their best!

My students are energetic, smart, and motivated to succeed.

Even though they come from a variety of backgrounds, including race, religion, academic levels, and family structure, we all work together to create a unique learning experience, instilling a love of learning and exploring that will last a lifetime. Many of my students' parents work multiple jobs and are unable to attend school events, therefore parents are missing out on their students' successes. Teaching students about healthy eating and how to grow their own food is a life lesson that will last for years.

My Project

Our students are involved in many ways in our school community. The printer will allow us to print on sublimation transfer sheets, which we will easily transfer to t-shirts. Giving iur students a sense of pride. The Cricut easy press will allow us the opportunity to press the iron on the t-shirts with ease. It will also be used for classroom projects to showcase what we are learning. This particular ink is long lasting. We have many clubs at our school which our students are very proud members of.

We expose our children to many exciting learning experiences and having t-shirts where students are able to participate in Drill Team, Mural Club, Lacrosse, NEHS, or Choir will assist in building a positive community.

The t-shirts will be designed by the students. We have students from many backgrounds and giving them a sense of belonging and being part of a community is crucial at this stage of their development. On field-trips we will also have a way to readily identify our students in case they mix in with other school groups.
