My Students

Our students are bright, ambitious, and eager to learn, but they face many hurdles. Over 90% are economically disadvantaged, one in three are English language learners, and 70% have an identified learning disability. Many of our students represent the first generation of their family to attend high school in the United States.

The students are determined, yet lack the necessary resources.

Our high school is located a section of Lake Worth, FLorida where we are proud to educate our very diverse group of Hispanic and Haitian students.

My Project

The EasyPress will allow the students to use the Iron-On Vinyl to create fashion designs they can wear. With so many students needing to press their design, the press will help the process run smoothly and yield professional results.

This would be used for ensuring my classroom students have unique shirts to wear at school events.

This machine would also be used to assist students, with the combination of making a design on the Cricut, and using this to press on the designs. These items are just what my classroom needs in order to assist the various needs of my students.
