Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

We are a first - fifth Grade Special Education Unit servicing children with different disabilities and needs.

My students' abilities range from all-day self-contained with limited conversational and social skills to attending general education classes throughout the school day with minimal sensory needs throughout the school day.

My students are wonderful children that need someone to believe in them and treat them like any other student. I push them to succeed and become as independent as possible and believe that one day they can be successful in the real world.

My Project

The reason I am asking for a power heat shirt press is to help us make a higher quality shirt that lasts longer for our students.

I would like to create and press shirts for our students to use during field trips, special education events such as "Buddy meet", " Day at the Movies" and different disability awareness we support throughout the year.

Our first DonorsChoose project was fully funded which included a Cricut Press 2 AIR with all the accessories. All we need now is this shirt press to fully make our projects and ideas a dream come true.
