Help me give my students organizational materials to store their items in, such as the 3-drawer cart, and materials to help them present their projects to the class, like the dry erase board, markers, and presentation remote.
As a teacher in a high-poverty school district, my students are often faced with challenges in and out of the classroom. One of these challenges is lack of adequate technology. Even though they face issues daily, I am looking to instill a love of learning into each student. The students in my classroom include speakers of other languages and students with exceptional needs. My students are creative and enjoy discovering. They take pride in their work and effort and challenge each other in positive ways. My students are supportive of each other and are constantly growing.
Despite many coming from single-parent households and low socioeconomic status, their potential and growth are endless, and they deserve opportunities and experiences.
They inspire me to continue learning, and I want to do the same for them. They are our future, and I want to give them a head start to a successful life.
My Project
My students need help with presenting their projects and to work with each other in a collaborative way. They have such great ideas and are learning how to share them with the rest of the class! The dry erase board, markers, and presentation remote are necessary when sharing their ideas to all. My students are learning how to create PowerPoints and solve math problems with each other using their markers and board.
My students have amazing ideas to share with each other, but they just need the materials to do so!
Along with the materials to be fabulous presenters, I have also asked for a few items for organizational skills in my room. My students have moved to collaborative groups and tables instead of traditional desks, and they need a place to store their materials.
