My Students

Our High School is located right outside the city of Baltimore in Maryland. My students come from diverse financial, academic and cultural backgrounds.

The population of students in my area are majorly students who are receiving FARMs from the school system (free and reduced meals) and who come from challenging backgrounds who do not have as much as we do.

My classroom also consists of students with diverse special needs aided by IEPs, emerging English language learners, gifted learners, and of course your average students.

My Project

This presentation tool will be incredibly helpful for presenting information to students. This tool will allow me to circulate the classroom while moving on to different slides. This way, I will not have to stand at my computer while also trying to engage the class.

Being an active and engaged teacher helps students mirror these behaviors in the classroom.

I feel it's important to not just talk to the screen in front of me, but to circulate through the classroom as we journey through the topics presented. The logitech clicker is something that students can also use in their own presentations they make for the class.
