My students need a standing desk to use when presenting in front of the classroom from a PowerPoint project. They need paper, ink and pencils to create their projects.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students have many talents and abilities. They come from many different backgrounds, which gives my classroom a unique culture not seen in other places. We take time every day to celebrate that uniqueness in order for us to learn about each other as well as the material I present in class.
The passion that these young ladies and gentlemen have for learning and sharing is what keeps me going every day.
I truly am blessed to work with such amazing students and help them to grow into young adults. Here at N.A., we are more than a school, we are a family.
My Project
As a Social Studies and Science teacher, I assign projects to my students on a regular basis. These projects may entail the students creating a poster, completing a lab or presenting a report in Power Point format. The students need this type of instruction in order to gain a thorough understanding of some topics.
The standing desk and colored pencils, along with the ink and paper will ensure that my students have all the materials needed to create dynamic projects.
My students work very hard on their projects with limited resources. I am asking for help to allow them more freedom to be creative.
