Preschoolers Learn to Code!
My students need preschool level materials to learn about Coding. Cubetto is perfect for my little ones.
My class is a Head Start class of 3 and 4 year old children. Most of my class is Hispanic and are learning to become bilingual (English and Spanish).
For most of my students this is their first time in a classroom.
We focus on learning and developing appropriate social skills, strong self esteem, creativity, literacy, problem solving and English.
This school year, we are starting to add STEM/STEAM activities and specifically coding activities to the our Head Start preschool curriculum.
The Cubetto learning system is a great set of materials to introduce coding to young children. The materials included in the Cubetto set are age appropriate, easy to learn to use, and make learning to code easy and fun.
I have used Cubetto myself in teacher workshops and I have met a teacher who used Cubetto in her class with great results.
She was able to tell me about a variety of ways she was able to use Cubetto in her preschool classroom with bilingual learners. I want to be able to give my students those same wonderful learning opportunities that Cubetto can offer.
DonorsChoose makes it easy for anyone to help a classroom in need. Public school teachers from every corner of America create classroom project requests, and you can give any amount to the project that inspires you.
