The children in my classroom all come from diverse backgrounds and range in ages of 3-5 years old. We are also a Head Start program that serves lower-income children and families. We work not only with our children but our families as well. We work to provide information and resources to help parents support their child's education and to close the achievement gap. Our 3-5-year-old children are all hands-on learners and learn best by doing. The more hands-on experiences we can provide, the more my children grow and learn.
My Project
We are looking to add Panelcraft building toys/Dream builder into our preschool classroom, which is the largest magnetic construction toy available. Preschoolers learn best through hands-on activities and how awesome would it be to build and construct things that are larger than themselves.
Panelcraft building toys/Dream builder promote spatial development which is the foundation for mathematics learning.
Panelcraft building toys inspire and support so many other areas of development in preschool children such as engineering skills, art, problem-solving skills, creativity, and social development. The possibilities are endless with panel craft building toys.
Imagine preschoolers building houses they can get inside and skyscrapers as tall as their teachers. Creating towns or cities with their friends. Panelcraft has created that toy we all wish we had as children. I see my students engaged and learning while they play with these awesome new magnetic blocks.
