My students need age appropriate games including Hide a Bear, Zingo, Sneaky Squirrel, and two puzzles to practice taking and requesting for more turns.
My students are fun and full of life! They are ready to learn and explore the world. These students have a special need that allows them to attend preschool through the local school district. They come from a variety of cultures and socioeconomic statuses but they all love coming to school! The program is housed in one of the district's multipurpose buildings which houses the alternative high school, adult classes and a preschool wing with day care and special education preschool classrooms. The students range in ages from 2 and a half years old to 6 years old. Students attend for half day sections with a maximum number of 12 students in a class.
My Project
My students are just starting to learn to talk and interact with those around them. In our classroom we do our best to provide opportunities for them to interact with their friends and classmates. These games would be a wonderful addition to our small collection of activities. Students would be able to practice the skills of turn taking, requesting for help and more, and having fun with friends!
These activities would be used on a daily basis and would be loved by students over the years!
We would love to have the chance to play these games over and over. I know my students will have so much fun learning and playing these games! Thank you for your help!
