My students walk in to class everyday waiting for their morning greeting. A hug, fist bump or high five may be the only positive connection they have had with an adult that morning.
Teaching in a Title I School 100% of my students qualify for free breakfast and lunch.
Everyday I try to provide a high quality, developmentally appropriately and academically rich preschool education for the youngest learners. I work with students, parents and staff to create a safe school family.
My Project
My students needs a projector screen to use in our class. Currently we do not have a smart board but we are fortunate enough to have an LCD projector and computer to use. I will use the screen for brain breaks, literacy and math activities.
I am also requesting additional manipulatives to add to our learning centers to increase students literacy and math experiences.
The pattern blocks and mats will be engaging for students to work with to make patterns with. Students will have opportunities to recognize shapes while using the shape sorters. The counting Bears will be used for sorting activities Students can use the puppets for increased language experiences.
