My students need basic supplies like organizer boxes, a timer, hall passes, labels, stickers, and more to make their classroom an inviting and organized space.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students are preschool age children who learn best through hands-on activities using a variety of manipulatives. They live in the highest poverty rate zip code in Milwaukee. They deserve high quality materials in their classroom. I have been teaching at this school for 17 years and supply many of the toys and materials I know these young learners need. These preschoolers will learn core subjects using fun and engaging materials! My students and I are very grateful for this opportunity.
My Project
Many of these products will help my preschoolers with classroom routines and procedures. The boxes will help them learn to organize their learning materials. The binder page protectors and dry erase page protectors will be used for small group work and will help to save paper. The classroom will be more inviting with fresh, new bulletin board resources. The stickers will be used as rewards and for learning activities such as counting and graphing.
The name tags and badges are very important for student safety at the beginning of the year and for when we go on field trips.
The hall passes are required for all students when they leave the classroom.
