My students need a subscription to Scholastic's My Big World with Clifford magazine so that they can extend learning outside the classroom in a meaningful and fun way.
My preschool students come from a rural area in northwest Missouri. They are an active, inquisitive, and compassionate group of young learners. They are in the prime time of their life where each and every minute is critical to their learning and development.
My students are compassionate towards one another and enjoy working with others.
They thirst for knowledge and opportunities to learn. They can not help but to seek out learning experiences. Their love for human connection is pure.
My Project
I am seeking funding for a year's subscription to the My Big World with Clifford magazine by Scholastic. My class is located in rural Missouri, and a subscription to this magazine would help enrich my student's learning inside and outside of the classroom.
After receiving sample issues of My Big World, I realized that these are materials my rural classroom needs.
They will make a difference in my students' learning by providing supplemental learning materials that meet their interests.
These materials are ideal for home-school communication and extending learning outside of the classroom. A subscription to My Big World will allow parents a meaningful way to support their children's learning.
