My Students
My diverse group of students loves hands-on learning that allows them to think critically and outside the box. They are problem solvers. They benefit from being able to experiment with various types of projects and challenges. I love the fact that all of the learners in my school can feel successful in my inclusive classroom.
My students are creative, thoughtful and full of questions!
Although quite a few of them are avid readers, there are some struggling readers as well. The struggling readers are learning to love their library because of the hands-on activities that are provided in that environment. Truly, they are my inspiration.
My Project
Help me bring my love of books to my students! Our class is not yet to the point of reading, but I want to instill a love and interest in books! If we can foster a love of books early it will open an entire world of literacy that will enable them to explore other worlds as well as help them be much more functional in our world for a lifetime.
This group loves storytime and repetition.
I have selected a variety of books that matches many of their learning needs as well as interests. They will be absolutely thrilled and there will be no holding us back!
