Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are an amazing group of fun, hard working special need preschoolers who are in a public school setting between the ages 3-5!
I do my best to create and support a welcoming classroom where students come in ready to start their day with excitement and anticipation of what they will get to see, touch/feel, and hear which together compounds their learning.
They are supported in their ability in learning how to communicate, socialize and play cooperatively with others.

My project request, "Preschool Hands are Tools of Learning" is my way of requesting and advocating that my students need a sand/water table and the materials that would support creating a sensory table (either filled with sand or water). This will allow me to offer a variety of textures and thematic figures that will help my students relax, imagine, and interact. The kids will be able to play with materials such as the kinetic sand that I have requested.
This project will bring together preschoolers who range in a great deal of ability and need, but who all love to feel and explore and be able to interact with materials on a sensory level.
