My Project

COVID-19 has impacted learning on my students by isolation, anxiety and lack of focus. Students are not able to express themselves and recognize emotions. Please help my students express themselves through storytelling and sensory play. The felt set will help my non-verbal students retell stories of who, what, and sequence. This will also help them recognize emotions and help problem solve. Sensory play will help my students learn to calm themselves and to learn about different activities that simulate their senses- touch, sight, hearing, smell, and taste. It helps students interact and make sense of the world that surrounds them.
