My Students
My students are hard-working, determined and eager to challenge themselves in order to achieve their daily and long term goals. It is so rewarding to watch them accomplish so much throughout the school year and gain the confidence to keep moving forward! I will be working with students in need of additional support to tackle reading obstacles and gain tools to be more successful in language arts topics. We will be learning letter sounds, reading skills, and other phonics and language arts skills!
My Project
These materials will help prepare an organized, fun, and welcoming reading intervention space for students in need of extra support to reach their language arts goals! I will be working one-on-one with students from kindergarten to 2nd grade, helping equip them with tools to recognize letter sounds, decode words, and sound out words. Our new classroom is going to be a Reading Fiesta, so a colorful theme is in order and we’re hoping you’ll consider helping us get: leveled books to help monitor our reading levels and reach new goals, non-fiction magazines for exploring new places and animals, unique yellow chairs to liven up our classroom, and colorful bins to organize our daily activities that we will be using to help us conquer reading and so much more!
