Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are wonderful and respectful children. They struggle in reading, but work hard to try to excel. They are from diverse backgrounds and diverse cultures. They have many walls that get in the way of comprehending what they read, but they try hard.
They are in a ESL Language Arts classroom.
Our environment is friendly and encouraging. The students help each other when they struggle in reading. Since they are in all levels, some of the stronger readers help the ones that struggle during read-aloud. We set goals at the beginning of the year so students can work hard to achieves their goal. They are wonderful 6th graders that will benefit greatly from this project.
My Project
The materials in this project are super important in contributing to student success. The materials will all be used to help students be prepared for class. We will be using these supplies to edit and revise papers. Also, we will use the glue and scissors and pens to incorporate information in their interactive notebook, which is essential in having students get the information needed to prepare for tests. Pencils are essential in everyday learning for the notes that are taken to further their understanding of the lesson. Student use many pencils and erasers in annotating in the text, which is an everyday activity. Your contribution will reach all my students and they will be used to further their education in our class. These supplies will help my students be prepared for class and ready to learn.
