My students need binders and shoe box containers, so that they will be able to keep track of the many projects, notes, and activities as well as keeping tablets charged for app development.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
This school year, my classroom will be home to 3 sections of Computer Science: Exploring Computer Science, Computer Science Principles, and AP Computer Science. The purpose of this course is to offer students an alternative to the traditional content courses, as well as offer them the ability to engage in hands-on activities, be exposed to computer science, and increase the ability to problem solve.
For students in an urban district, having the opportunity to learn about computer science, develop apps and program a robot would be awesome experiences!
They deserve it.
My Project
The Rapid Charging Ports and Samsung Cords are neeeded to charge the donated tablets for the AP Computer Science Course. Binders will help keep the students' work organized.
These materials will make a difference in the classroom because the students will have all of their work organized in binders, the tablets will be charged daily for app development, and the storage containers will hold student materials, whereas the students will have ownership of the supplies needed each day.
This will prepare them for the next phase in education and what it means to be organized and how to study for success.
