My students need these items so they can feel proud and accomplished moving onto Kindergarten. They've worked so hard in VPK and with many challenges of Hurricane Irma, we want our kids to feel special.
Our school is a Title 1 school, and our efforts are towards meeting a new level of enjoyment they may not receive at home. We love our students and want them to enjoy coming to class each day and with your help of this project, we can meet that goal for our students.
As we are nearing the end of our school year, we want to make the kids feel special on their VPK Graduation Day.
To do that we are needing special items to make this a memorable day for our students.

My Project
These materials will allow the children to decorate with their friends and feel the excitement of the school year ending. We want our kids to know and understand the importance of VPK Graduation and having them decorate their sashes with pride of hard work all year.
All kids love to be creative and get messy, and though we want their Graduation Sashes to be special with their Names, we want them to have their own special touch of creativity too.
Our students come from low income homes and we really encourage our students about the life goals of school and academics.
