My Students

My students are the most adorable children. We are located in a public elementary school which is located in the Bronx. My class is a newly created Pre-K

classroom, which means we need materials.

Pre-k is the greatest time to inspire curious learners.

Children are instinctually curious and want to explore, touch and ask a million questions. I love this age group. I am always looking for different ways to engage and teach my children. I truly have the best career in the world.

My Project

One way I would love to teach my children is through the use of STEM activities. This is great because students are learning to problem solve and aren't worried about finding the one perfect answer.

Imagine a group of four year olds discussing how to build a chair that will hold Goldilocks and the three bears!

Not only are they learning to problem solve, but they are learning social skill, such as working with others. It is a wonderful feeling to see the gleam of success in a child's eyes when they realized that they have found a solution. We also need a STEM bundle and Design and Build Engineering Centers plus much more.
