Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
With your donation, we will have supplies that will help us explore our creativity and teach us Pre-K concepts.
My students are 4 years old and are experiencing school for the first time.
They are creative and enthusiastic about learning. Our school is small and our budget is limited. The majority of my students come from low-income families. Most of my students' parents are unable to volunteer their time and money because of their need to work.
My Project
Each of the materials I am requesting will help my students learn the Pre-K skills and concepts needed before entering kindergarten. They will be able to use their creativity by making arts and crafts with jumbo sticks, pipe stems, colored wiggly eyes, and glue tubes.
My students will learn about shapes and colors when they use the Magna-Tiles that have been requested. They will also learn various pre-k concepts when they use the Bingo Games Learning Library. The jumbo magnetic numbers and counters will help my students learn their numbers. Every resource will definitely make learning fun.
